Residency Programs

The Department of Pharmacy Practice has, in collaboration with area practitioners, established residency positions in a variety of institutional settings. Interested applicants must have a B.S. or Pharm.D. degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy and must be eligible for licensure in North Dakota.

Affiliated sites are:

Meritcare Medical Center, Fargo

Veterans Administration Medical Center, Fargo

Innovis Hospital, Fargo

St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck

Lake Region Medical Center, Fergus Falls, MN

Residents are paid a 12 month stipend of $35,000 or more depending on the residency site. Each resident receives two weeks paid vacation. In addition, residents may receive an adjunct faculty appointment through the NDSU College of Pharmacy, Nursing, and Allied Sciences Department of Pharmacy Practice.

 

The North Dakota Institute for Pharmaceutical Care

Mission Statement

The College of Pharmacy, Nursing, and Allied Sciences serves the state and region through its programs in pharmaceutical education, research, patient care, and public services. The North Dakota Institute for Pharmaceutical Care is an outreach arm of the College of Pharmacy, Nursing, and Allied Sciences. Initiated in 1996 and reorganized in 2003, the Institute purpose is to help pharmacists improve their practice and provide them with a ready source of health and drug information and assessment skills. Dr. David Scott is the Director.
